Frequently asked questions

Can I prepare this ahead?

The onion-vinegar marinade should rest at least 4 hours, ideally overnight in the fridge.

Raw marinated meat keeps 1 day in the fridge; grilled leftovers about 2 days.

What side dish goes well?

Pairs well with pepper salad, flatbread and sharp mustard or ajvar sauce.

Can I substitute ingredients?

Lamb or chicken works instead of pork – marinate a little shorter then.
